This perfectly cured and hand-selected bacon is hardwood smoked for a rich, smoky flavor, and it contains 50% less sodium* than market pantry hardwood smoked bacon. Whether you’re frying it alongside a couple eggs or putting some on a cheeseburger, this hardwood smoked bacon is perfect for a variety of uses.
Directions
Bacon needs to be fully cooked.
Skillet
Place bacon slices in single layer in unheated skillet. Cook over LOW to MEDIUM heat, turning occasionally, until brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
Microwave
Directions were developed for 1000 watt and higher microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave ovens below 1000 watts will require additional time to reach proper temperature.
Place bacon slices between paper towels on paper plate or microwave-safe dish. Cook on HIGH; 2 slices for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes; 4 slices for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes, until brown and crisp.
Oven
Place bacon in single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake at 400F for 10 to 15 minutes until brown and crisp. No turning is necessary. Drain on paper towels.
For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 165F as measured with a food thermometer. Appliances may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.
