Product Description

Put together an easy and delicious dinner for yourself or the whole family with the 19-Ounce Frozen Cheese Tortellini Pasta from Market Pantry™. Filled with ricotta and Romano cheeses, this frozen tortellini pasta is microwavable and can be prepared in 6 minutes. Just add your favorite sauce once the pasta is fully cooked for a quick and delicious meal.

Directions

Pasta needs to be fully cooked. Keep frozen until ready to prepare.

Stovetop

1. Bring 4 quarts water in a large pot to a rolling boil. Salt water, if desired.
2. Add tortellini; gently stir. Return to a boil, stirring occasionally. Cook 4 to 5 minutes or until pasta is cooked through.
3. Remove from heat; drain well.
Tip: For best results, remove tortellini from pot with slotted spoon and drain in colander.

Microwave
Directions were developed for 1100 watt and higher microwave ovens. Heating in microwave ovens below 1100 watts may require additional time.

1. Combine 1 cup frozen tortellini and 3/4 cup pasta sauce in microwave-safe bowl. Cover.
2. Microwave on HIGH 3 minutes. Stir and cook and additional minute or until pasta is hot throughout. Caution: Dish will be hot.

For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 165°F as measured with a food thermometer. Appliance temperatures may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.
